Message from the Chair Bagenalstown
Family Resource Centre (FRC) has been working with the communities in
Bagenalstown and surrounding areas of South Carlow since 2001. It is
a multi-faceted ‘family centre’ which provides a comprehensive
list of programmes, services and supports to families and
individuals, from Stepping Stones Childcare Centre to counselling, as well as running clubs
and groups that you can attend. These are specifically chosen to meet
the needs of the community and are set out in our three year work plan. The Director of Services, Lynda Stacey, works with a great team of dedicated
staff and volunteers.

Community cooperation at its best
During COVID-19 lockdown Bagenalstown Family Resource Centre developed food hampers, to show our
support and link in with families and individuals in the area. A big "Thank-you!" to Muinebheag Garda Station for all
their assistance with the delivery of the food hampers.
